Raise the Bar for Fiscal Transparency

 As National Treasurer, I will:  

• Serve on the Finance Committee to review, recommend and assure adherence to fiscal policy.

• Implement a quarterly webinar to review financial reports. This will allow the membership an opportunity to ask questions for clarity and understanding and build on transparency.

• Advise Chapters on the wise use of capital and how to properly position their assets to produce the required resources to maintain and grow.

 As National Treasurer, I will:  

• Bring a high level of character and integrity and encourage the same among all whom I interact with 

• Encourage open and honest dialogue within leadership and throughout the Sisterhood.   

• Demonstrate accountability via my actions and my responsiveness to the organization’s needs and, most importantly, to our membership.

Reimagine Delta’s leadership in Economic Development

As National Treasurer, I will:

• Promote financial training sessions with Chapters and organizations in the communities we serve. Education is the first step to economic progress. 

• Work to close the wealth gap in the Black community through our collaboration with other D9 organizations and create a network to link our communities to capital resources.

Reach across five generations and unify the Sisterhood

 As National Treasurer, I will:

• Consider the needs across the five generations of Deltas with special emphasis on collegiate sorors who will lead our great sisterhood into the next generation. 

• Use technology and allow for non-technological opportunities to keep the entire membership engaged.

• Strengthen the financial base of the Sorority by making educational opportunities available to teach wealth building practices and encourage the membership to make Delta a part of their legacy in their wealth distribution plans.
