Fiscal transparency is not just a best practice, it is a sacred promise. Transparency means ensuring that every Soror, at every level, understands how our funds are managed, why financial decisions are made, and how those decisions align with our mission.  As your National Treasurer, I have:​

• Published easy-to-understand financial summaries so every Soror, across all generations, could feel confident in where and how our funds were used.

• Participated in virtual town halls to provide real-time updates and answer questions regarding the financial status of our organization.

• Assisted chapters in implementing sound financial practices to carry out their financial responsibilities.

Because when every dollar is accounted for, trust grows stronger.

• Strengthening internal controls and ensuring all financial policies are consistently upheld at every level of our beloved Sorority.

• Establishing a transparent feedback loop where chapters share challenges and receive supportive solutions.

• Upholding a culture where accountability is not feared—but expected, celebrated, and modeled.

Together, we build a financial legacy worthy of our Founders’ vision.

Delta has always been a trailblazer—and now is the time to innovate how we empower economic justice and wealth-building. As your National Treasurer, my economic development vision includes:

• Launching initiatives that equip our members and communities with financial literacy, investment education, and entrepreneurship training.

• Strengthening partnerships with Black-owned financial institutions and investment groups to support Delta-led ventures and community development.

• Exploring national platforms to fund scholarships, grants, and chapter programs through ethical investments and philanthropic strategy.

Delta can and will lead in reshaping the economic landscape of our communities.

Financial health is not just numbers—it’s about people. It’s about us. As your National Treasurer, I will work to unite our sisterhood across five generations by:

• Creating intergenerational financial mentoring teams so wisdom and innovation flow both ways—from our most seasoned sorors to our newest initiates.

• Designing financial tools and training that speaks the language of every age group—from tech-savvy Gen Zers to our legacy-building Baby Boomers.

• Centering love and respect in every policy, knowing that when we honor the unique voices of every generation, Delta thrives.

Because a united sisterhood is a powerful sisterhood.

 

Sorors, our financial future is bright as we continue to build it together. With integrity, innovation, and intention, I am excited to continue serving as your National Treasurer. Together, let’s protect what we’ve built, expand what we can imagine, and ensure that Delta Sigma Theta continues to shine—fiscally strong, boldly unified, and always forward.
